So I finally had to admit defeat and call the damn dr. (Kaiser) and they suck cause they always try to do that whole advice nurse shit on me and I get fed up and just don't call. But I took no crap today, cause I flat out was having trouble breathing. Of course, having to be at work didn't help. LOL...so I got an appt for noon and called mom to come pick me up as I was bit lightheaded and out of it to drive the distance to my dr.'s office. Turns out I have asthma. Brought on by bouts of allergies and/or cold systems. With the cold I caught monday, by Tuesday nite I was totally a goner with the wheezing, tight chest, hard to breathe syptoms. Stayed home from work on Wed. But really needed to get back there today with all those damn emails piling up on me.
So in thinking back this past year....everytime I have had an allergy attack in my throat...i noticed i would start doing this wheezing thing. I'd take an allergy pill, the syptoms would go away. But if I caught cold, because the cold lingers on for days...so did the wheezing. And I never went to the dr. But this time I flat out couldn't breathe good, so I knew it was getting more serious. And I feel sooo much better tonite after doing the inhalers and taking the predisone to help me breathe. Still have the cold, so my body still feels like a train wreck...slowly but surely I will get better.
oh! and a great SV for me at the Dr.'s!! I was 151 on my wedding day...157 the day after I got back from honeymoon...160 the day after that...i knew it was water (a few at least!) cause I hadn't drank all my water very good in that whole week gone. So i didn't want to get on the scale with all my clothes on and my shoes. plus i had on this big bulky sweater to keep warm. but i got on...156.8! LOL...with clothes on!!! those, my shoes and my sweater gotta at least weigh 2 pounds, right! LOL...well, maybe 1 or 1.5...I'll take it!
Quick update: feeling waaaaay better today (friday), can breathe, etc. no wheezing. Just cold stuff left now. Also - weighed in at 153! only 2 pounds more than my wedding day! I'll take it! hehehe...
