So I thought I would take several days to post our Carmel trip as I have tons of pics and all the blog space in the world. LOL...I'm going to start with the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk as that was our first stop. I had never been there and Rob hadn't been since he was a little tyke.
As you can see...it was closed for the season! LOL...
Whenever I think of the Boardwalk...I think of a giant Ferris Wheel

When the tide comes in, the seals get up on the rafters to sleep...then the tide goes out. They were pretty high up off the water, even tho it doesn't appear that way here.

I am so jealous!! I have lived in Northern California since 1970 and I've never been to the boardwalk. My DH has been there--during his previous marriage--and my kids have all gone there, but not me! I wanna go, I wanna go. Damnit! You get to have all the fun!

Nice pictures...loved the seal picture. Are those a bunch of seagulls in the ferris wheel pic? I loved the pic under the boardwalk.
