....then it's probably a duck that hit your window while gettin' busy!
A week ago, right after I came home from the hospital, I was laying on the couch. My mom and my MIL were here and Rob of course. Mom got up to go find something for me on the side of the couch by the window. Next thing I know, there's a loud crash against the window and I thought mom had done something. Nope. Can't blame her this time. A duck hit our window. LOL...we then notice there are two of them - male and female - in our back yard. I immediately am trying to get off the couch (no easy task my first day home!) and start calling for Rob to come help me 'cause I want to see too! LOL....he takes his sweet ass time getting to me, but finally does and I can look out the window. Then Rob starts picking up the cats and putting them in the window sill to see the ducks. LOL...they weren't all that interested. More like annoyed that he woke them up. LOL...Of course I had to grab the camera to get some pics.....no! not of them gettin' down to business...just walking around the backyard. Then Rob went outside and got them in flight when they left. I wonder if they ever got to finish their session.....hehehe.
Now, not to be outdone, the ladybugs in our backyard were gettin' busy too! LOLOL....I went out to take some pics of the green leaves on our back fench and noticed we had tons of ladybugs living on them. And one that I thought was ONE HUGE LADYBUG, was really 2 of them getting down to business....or so it looked. You be the judge. There must be something about our backyard....

Wow these are some great shots. I have ducks where I live because I'm near a lake. The sound of ducks makes my blood pressure drop. But these pictures are like National Geographic shots girl!
Great pics Jan, except for the cake one. You really need to kiss my ass and quit showing me that cake before I have to fly out there and hurt you! LOL.
I think all the ducks and ladybugs need to get busy in your yard because they're trying to make up for all the "action" that's missing INSIDE your house right now. Poor Rob! :)

Hi Jan, I linked to you through Emily. The mile high cake is awesome, and it is only one slice. Great on portion control. I got a whole cake for my birthday yesterday. What am I going to do with a whole cake? I'm. On. A. Diet. :-/. :-) Spring is hear and nature will take it course, but doesn't it freak you out when it's in your backyard? It does me... :-)
