Blecky. Icky. Day. Pouring rain.
We got our 2 cats, poor things. They are in shock. Who wouldn't be. One minute they are in the only home they've known for 5-6 yrs since they were kittens and the next minute they are being cramed in a box, put in a car and taken to a new home with total strangers. They hid in the bottom of the pantry for hours. I finally dragged the poor things out and closed the door. We made up a bed for them by their food and water and put their litter box not far away. I feel so bad for them. Now they are hidden under Rob's bikes. LOL. They let us pet them, but they aren't even talking. No purring. I'm hoping during the night while we sleep, that they at least eat and drink and sleep on the bed we made up for them.
Ok, on the food front, I usually blow it big time over the weekend. But this weekend I did AWESOME!!! Even with today's excitement over getting the cats, I still managed to keep it all in line! I'm totally proud of myself!

I want my cat!!!!!!!!!
*poppy eyes*
Hey post something on the Under Construction Blog... jejeje
Poor babies! They will be fine, just give them the time they need to adjust, I'm sure they will warm up. You go girl! You are doing so well on the diet!
Yep, cats are not big fans of change. They will adjust, but it will take them time.
As for your food choices, I am trying to keep up on how you are doing. At some point I will need to stop eating NS food and want to have ideas on how to make that transition.
Danielle!!! shhhhh.....don't say diet!!! my fat cells don't know yet. ;)
Barry,
I'm just following along the plan adding in the same 'ol fruit and proteins i've always had and then just adding that entree. whether it be something i found or something off of Amy Smith's blog. Shes the woman!!
Oh, man! You just had to bring up cats and get Edith all teary-eyed again. Poor thing. Maybe you could Fed-Ex her one of yours?
Jan, you are doing a great job with the food choices. I am very proud of you.
As for the cats, just give them a little time. They will come around soon enough.
